Sood's first exposure to electronic music was Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance podcast, and he started DJing in high school at the age of 15. He quickly gained popularity for the college parties he organized and performed at. He moved on to playing local nightclubs in Goa and soon made regular nightclub and festival appearances.

Anyasa

In 2021, Sood rebranded his artist project to Anyasa, which translates to "spontaneous and effortless" in Sanskrit. He signed with Anjunadeep and released his debut EP, Gaya, in July 2021. The EP combines classical Indian vocals with layers of texture and ambience, and was praised for its originality and beauty.

Gaya was followed by the EPs Athena (2022) and Apollo (2023), both of which continued to explore Anyasa's blend of Indian and electronic influences.

Anyasa has been praised for his unique sound and his ability to blend traditional Indian music with contemporary electronic music. He has been called "a pioneer of Indian electronic music" and "one of the most exciting new talents in dance music."
